Remarkable Counseling Today is a private, nonprofit, educational organization and is exempt from the counseling law in the State of Texas. 

 

Exemptions from the law include:

• private educational institutions 
• recognized religious practitioners 
• nonprofit organizations 

​

Pursuant to Texas Law, Section 503-056, "Counseling for Nonprofit Organizations and Charities":

 

"This chapter does not apply to an activity, service, title, or description of a person who is employed as a professional by or who volunteers in the practice of counseling for a public or private organization or charity if the person is accountable to the person's sponsoring organization, and does not use the title licensed counselor."
